Yes. In addition to covering regular business hours, we frequently provide after-hour and around-the-clock guard services and patrols. In addition, we operate a 24-hour dispatch center.
We start by providing a free consultation over the phone. During this initial consultation, we’re able to get a broad understanding of your security needs. Based upon your needs and budget, we will provide a quote for the guard services we think will serve you best. If the quote is accepted, an on-site visit is arranged to ensure that our security plan will sufficiently meet your needs. Once the terms are agreed upon, we finalize the contract. As soon as the contract is signed, we then work with you to establish a more detailed security plan with specific guard post duties. Additionally, we are always open to adjusting our security plan to better meet a client’s needs. Call us today to learn more.
Our private security services are available in large metropolitan cities, small rural areas, and everything in-between throughout Southern California, including Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, Kern County, Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, and San Diego County. We also offer our services in Northern California.
All of our guards are carefully selected by our management team. To qualify for an interview, a guard must already hold an active Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) and at least a year of experience working for a mid- to large-size company. We typically give priority to applicants who also have experience working for law enforcement, the military, or some type of good samaritan program (e.g. a Neighborhood Watch captain), as well as those who went to school for criminal justice or other related field. Through the interview process, we’re able to assess an applicant’s communication skills, professionalism, and competency. Finally, before a guard can be hired, we verify their employment history, check personal references, and make sure that they pass background checks and drug testing.
Our guards have all received training in the fundamentals of private security. This includes legal aspects, power to arrest, terrorism and weapons of mass destruction awareness (WMD), observe and report, emergency situations and evacuation procedures, patrol, post order duties, fire watch, public relations, and communication. Once hired, we require that our guards complete another 40 hours of training in specialized private security courses, such as CPR, first aid, retail loss prevention, trespass, search and seizure, safety awareness, conflict management, chemical agents, etc., within the first six months. In addition to the additional hours of training required by the BSIS to keep their Guard Card active, we also provide in-house training to our guards every two to three months.
Prior to every assignment, our guards are also thoroughly briefed by one of our managers on their responsibilities and expectations. The manager reviews the security plan for the client and their specific post order duties.
Our guards are qualified to provide private security services for a broad range of industrial, commercial, and residential locations.
To ensure that our guards are on site and on time, we employ a mobile time clock app with geolocation that requires our guards to be within 100 feet of the assigned post in order to be able to check in. Our guards are required to check in at the start of their shift and then every 30 minutes until their shift is over.
In addition to our automated systems, our management team performs site visits on a regular basis. During a site inspection visit, a manager looks to verify that our security guard is at his/her post, wearing the proper uniform, and performing their required post duties. We review the daily reports, check for incidents, and confirm that there were no significant changes that might affect the effectiveness of the security plan. All findings are recorded in the Security Guard Evaluation form.
